Peace: Perfect or Imperfect

John 14:27 (New Living Translation)

I am leaving you with a gift–peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.

Re-reading this bible verse (it’s my hypnosis) again, I just laugh out loud because indirectly it has form the basis of my existence.

God definitely is a perfectionist!

When He gives a word He knows the human expectation, experience and adversity that comes with it. So he will always prepare us for the very best and worst situation we may encounter.

The Peace of God can be likened to a gift or a fruit. Gift appreciate, a fruit is a reward of the seed that was sown. So we can either look at the Peace of God as an investment that will appreciate over time or as reward of consistent habitation in the word of God. Whichever way you look at it: either as a gift or as a seed, one thing is constant- it is profitable.

In a world where fear of the unknown is a constant decimal. We need to consciously remind ourself of that word that God whispers into our hears when we listen to Him. There is a word for every life circumstances. We need to reach beyond the veil of fear and doubt to hear what the Spirit is saying.

So here I am again, reflecting on God’s faithfulness, an assurance of my faith. Here I am again remembering those convictions and with a believe that no matter what happens, the peace of God that is given as a gift is greater than any other gift the world can give.

Mind you, the world wraps it’s gifts in shimmering crystals and gold plate, but the gift of God comes as it is, wether crooked, frail, broken, or patched. To appreciate God kind of gift is to constantly draw from His rivers of living waters.

Every good and perfect gift is from God. Peace profound.
